About Me

I am a dedicated intimacy coordinator, actor, movement artist, and kink advocate with a passion for gender & sexuality as creative expression, and the transformative power of consent and boundary led spaces. My extensive experience on high profile film & TV sets, including intimacy, movement and choreography, brings a wide breadth of knowledge and skill to my role as an IC.

I completed my SAG-AFTRA accredited certification with industry leaders, Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA), lead by Amanda Blumenthal, and continue to develop my skills and expertise in the field, particularly on topics of anti-racism, anti-ableism, LQBTQIA+ allyship, and sex worker advocacy.

What is an Intimacy Coordinator and why use one?

An Intimacy Coordinator is a TV & Film professional who advocates for performers & crew during the filming of scenes involving simulated sex, nudity, and other forms of intimacy and hyper exposure. They act as a liaison between actors, directors and members of production, ensuring a safe and consenual working environment for all.

Some of the ways an IC can support a production include:

  • offers clear communication between actors, directors and production to ensure all parties are fully informed regarding the nature and vision of the scene/s.

  • advocates for cast and their safety while filming intimate scenes, ensuring their emotional and physical boundaries are respected.

  • ensures that all legal requirements and closed set protocols necessary for filming intimate content are fully met.

  • collaborates with departments such as HMU & costume, to cover the needs of the scene in advance of filming.

  • contributes to a safe and open working environment where performers feel more comfortable and free to do their best work.

My Work

I believe deeply in the power of storytelling - to educate, to inspire, to bond, and to heal. Intimacy is such an important part of the human experience that it’s critical for industry professionals to engage with this work with dignity - as such, my approach to the work is centred on providing an approachable, reliable and open-minded foundation to build on.

Specificity and authenticity in storytelling is extremely important to me, whatever themes the narrative explores. From joy, liberation and passion, all the way across the spectrum to the shadow side of intimacy of pain, trauma and danger, I am passionate to bring these stories to life on screen.

Key objectives for my process:

  • Safeguarding - The safety of all cast and crew is at the heart of my practise, ensuring fully informed consent and all legal requirements are respected.

  • Efficiency - picture making is a time-consuming and expensive process. My streamlined and efficient approach is geared towards saving time, while delivering excellent performances.

  • Collaboration - all projects are different, and folks need varying degrees of input and support. I listen carefully to both the technical and creative needs of each project and allow my involvement to be organic, as and when needed.

  • Approachable - I’m eager to share my expertise and to be used as a valuable resource for production. I’m always happy to advise on any questions you may have, and to contribute my knowledge, liaison skills and creativity.
